Rikyu by boy Tokyo first opened in 2010. The whole environment of Rikyu is designed to reflect our sensibility of Thai and Japanese cross cultural design.  Rikyu aspires to respect the Thai culture and aesthetics integrating it with Japanese ideologies to create something new.

Rikyu is directed by Satomi and Tuk.
It is a hair salon that focuses on simple yet creative ideas to fit your needs and lifestyle.
Furthermore after relocating Sukhumvit 32 in 2019, we now offer a tranquil community space called “JOUER” to offer you much more than just a hair salon.

We look forward to seeing you and hope to give you a pleasant surprise.

Rikyu is a an old but new hair salon with simple creative ideas to fit your needs for a good hair day. Tucked away in sukhumvit 32 we look forward to seeing you in our newly designed space of tranquility and small surprises.

BOY SIAM is our second branch opened its doors in 2012.
BOY SIAM is directed by Preaw and Yoji.
All our stylists have been trained for a minimum of 4years by the directors of the Rikyu team and aspires to simply give you the youthful active look to suit your needs, personal lifestyle and hopefully more!

The Salon space of BOY SIAM concept differs a little from that of Rikyu, where we promote more collaborative usage of space and ideas, borrowing and combining fun things with arts and culture.

We look forward to seeing you for an enjoyable experience with you ultimately looking great!

The second hair salon produced by Rikyu is located in the same building of the historical movie theatre of Bangkok named “ Scala Theatre.” BOY Hair salon aspires to simply give you the best look you seek achieved by professionally trained stylists of great individuals of the Rikyu team.

Interior designed by Stu/D/O Architects. We expanded the salon to the upper floor to provide more waiting area and a gallery space, “ Space 1.5.” They have developed a way to tie two levels together with a loop of continuous steel rod, which serves mainly as a structure for the new mobile cutting units. The raw steel rod, the counters and floor in natural concrete and white painted interiors gives industrial and minimalist look.
